TattooMate 3.0.0.0: New design, dark mode, and built-in support

Version 3.0.0.0 brings a fundamentally reworked admin interface along with several features studios have been asking for. Here's an overview of what's new.

New admin layout

The admin area has been rebuilt from the ground up. The horizontal navigation has been replaced with a modern sidebar that only shows the sections you actually have access to. There's also a new dashboard with live numbers: forms today, total, and open per type, today's newsletter activity — every tile is clickable.

Dark mode

The admin area, forms, and public pages now support dark mode. Switch between light, dark, and system theme via the toggle in the header.

Built-in support

You can now create, answer, and close support tickets directly from within TattooMate — including image attachments. We see the full conversation history and can help you faster without the detour through email.

Mandatory artist signature

For each form type (tattoo, piercing, tooth jewelry, body mod, cosmetic) you can now require the treating artist to digitally sign before marking a treatment as "completed." Without a signature, the status can't be set — this is enforced server-side, not just in the UI. The signature also appears in the PDF export.

Security

We closed a gap where three of the five form types didn't verify their activation status server-side. We've also added bot protection (honeypot fields, one-time tokens) to all public forms, and consent forms can no longer be deleted — only rejected with a mandatory comment.
